KJV BIBLE review
Digital Bibles are meant to be perfect replicas of the hard copy Bibles but because internet connectivity is always needed to access its full functions, it is not the most preferred choice. The Offline KJV Bible was designed to solve that issue. It does not require an internet connection to function. You can read your Bible anytime, anywhere, without an internet connection.
The Bible was written in King James Version;
The texts are black, on a white background;
It has an audio option;
It is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
Texts are bold and cover the screen, making readability easier. The yellow slider at the bottom left of the screen allows the user to zoom in or zoom out texts, depending on their preference. Note that when your internet is on, you will see ads on the screen, if not, it looks pretty much like a Bible.
Instead of highlighting a verse to share, you can click on the verse, a prompt will display with options to share, save to clipboard or add Bookmark. This feature is great and eliminates the need to highlight and copy texts. However, the disadvantage of this is that one can only share a verse at a time.
The random option allows you to read scriptures randomly. So, you can either enter a keyword in the search box at the bottom left or click on the three-dash button at the top left, choose random text, and it will display random scriptures from the Bible.
The audio version has two options, the offline and online version. The offline version sounds automated and is painful to listen to. The online version sounds human, and the reading is understandable and very clear. Since it is an offline Bible, it would only be fair to use a pre-recorded human voice, instead of an automated one.
The KJV Offline English Bible is great and allows flexibility of reading large or small texts. One can also listen to Audio Bibles if they are visually impaired, do not like reading or do not have time to read. Although, since it’s an offline Bible, ads should not be embedded in it at all and the voice option should not need the internet connection. In addition, people should be able to share multiple verses as they please.
