Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

Bible apps are a dime a dozen on the Google Play and App Store. Great Bible apps which work excellently offline, on the other hand, are hard to come by. The And Bible app from Crosswire is one of those apps which not only works well, but also delivers on that utility of helping you study and understand the Word better.

Key Features

The app has most of what you need to study the Bible, although a few more features could be added which would totally transform this app into one of the best Bible apps. First of all, this is a completely free app, which is part of the mission of Crosswire and The Sword project. Once you download and install this app, you never have to worry about a premium subscription or being inundated by ads which are always a nuisance. There are different Bible translations, Christian books, study material, maps and other resources which have been translated into over 700 different languages. The app interface itself can be translated into several languages, which is a big plus for users of And Bible from non-English speaking countries.

While you will find several Bible translations in And Bible such as the ESV, KJV and NET, you may not find copies that are licensed to certain authorship and those which are not open-source translations like the NIV and the NKJV. The app also provides Strong’s integration, which is useful with Hebrew and Greek word analysis. And Bible has extensive commentary from different authors and study resources which you can use to strengthen your knowledge of the Bible. One of the best parts of the app is the ability to compare different Bible translations on the same page. You can create tags and bookmarks, scroll easily, write your own personal notes and use the handy search feature.

And Bible excels at pulling off all its features effortlessly, although the app could use a couple of changes. While it has amazing and useful features, the interface could be a bit more seamless. It looks clustered and takes a bit of time to get used to. The developers could also add podcasts, audiobooks, and kids resources for those children who are using this app.

Overall, And Bible excels at providing the Bible as a free resource for people from all around the world.
